For those of you who are planning a vacation this year, it is not completely dark, the seats are still very much alive with many tour operators to find in a price war, there are some good holiday deals this year. Some of our favorites for 2009.
Northern Thailand. One could spend his life in Thailand and still more to do things. The northern provinces, especially the remote Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai and Mae Hong Son, where you can ride an elephant or raft through spectacular scenery. Immense in one of the oldest civilizations and hike along the 3,000 years of history.
Greek islands. The island in the hope of the Greek islands is a unique experience that everyone know at some point in their lives. Scooter around the beautiful island of Santorini, Paros eat gyros, lazing in the sun of Ios, what better way to spend the summer in Europe.
Cape Town. For those who, after a while, one of South Africa has something for everyone – the wildlife, history, culture and sports. The City of Cape Town is the perfect place to start. Not many cities can from a mountain a mile high above the city, even of Table Mountain, with some boasting breathtaking views of the planet. Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope, located on the southwestern tip of Africa, is a well-known for the treacherous sea, where meet the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian Ocean. Take a ferry to Robben Iceland and walk along the almost 400 years of banishment, exile, isolation and imprisonment. For those looking for excitement – snorkeling or diving with sharks in the sky. Make sure you drink a glass of Cape Town along many beaches with white sand.
Barcelona. Without doubt one of the most magnificent and unique cities on the planet. A cosmopolitan city, there are so many things to see and do. From the famous Sagrada is a huge building was designed by the architect Antonio Gaudi, and many other treasures such as the amazing Parc Güell. Make sure you take a walk on Rambus and drink sangria on the beach.
New York. All shops, museums, theaters, restaurants, skyscrapers, parks, and did we mention more shopping. Be sure to see Central Park, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, Grand Central Terminal and Rockefeller Center, the list is long!
Turkey. Nestled between Asia and Europe, Turkey offers a cultural mix in order to satisfy even the toughest of travelers. Walking on a magic carpet, you can relax in a Turkish bath, barter for almost everything in the Grand Bazaar, visit a traditional Turkish dance, see Ephesus, Pamukkale amazing and of course balloon ride a horse in Goreme (Cappadocia) – Oh, the possibilities are endless Turkey.
Paris. The city of Paris, ideal for wine and romance. We need not spend much time with talk of Paris, we all know the attractions, Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre and Sacré-Coeur. Paris speaks for itself – now they go to see!
Australia. Leave the cradle of the northern hemisphere and go to a place where time seems almost motionless. The cares of the world behind you, that you take some of the friendliest people in the world has to offer. Australia is like no other big cities such as Sydney to the outback of Western Territory and the marine life of the Great Barrier Reef.
Dubai. A place that a quick look on what provides the cities will look in the future, a place where Western and Middle Eastern cultures meshed together almost transparent. Only in Dubai could be a five star hotel built in two months, and only in Dubai could be affordable for even the closest travelers! When it comes to building and the craziest idea, the more likely it is to be built and that is why Dubai is full of admiration is the art of engineering inspiration.
Tokyo. Seats to a beach on the Greek islands. One of the most dynamic and fastest pace in cities around the world (and probably more expensive). The neon of downtown Tokyo will Blow Your Mind, and the other end of the imperial palace, several hundred square miles of parks and history are an oasis in one of the most densely populated and congested areas of the planet. Tokyo has a wealth of museums and temples to keep you busy for a week.
